I started my PhD in O. Hyrien’s lab after obtaining a Master degree in Fundamental Biology for Health (IMaLiS) at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris in 2021. The aim of my thesis is to better understand the regulation of replication initiation and fork progression in the human genome. To this end, I will use FORK-seq, a high-throughput, single-molecule method developed in our laboratory which allows the detection by nanopore sequencing of thymidine analogs incorporated into DNA during replication.
