Research topic

I joined O. Hyrien’s team on 1/9/17. My research interests are the potential biological roles of structured nucleic acids (classical or non classical structures). I have been appointed as INSERM researcher in 2001 and I have worked in the Biophysics lab at the MNHN in Paris (2001-2009) and at the LBME in Toulouse (2010-2016). In 2017, I was in sabbatical in S. Balasubramanian’s lab in Cambridge (UK). Up to now, I have worked mostly on guanine quadruplexes (G4) using biophysical, biochemical and bioinformatics (http://bioinformatics.cruk.cam.ac.uk/G4Hunter/) approaches. In O. Hyrien’s team, I will try to reconcile various approaches that aim to define eukaryotic replication origins.
